Recommendation on the usage of the streaming capabilities of Edge Pro cameras

We do NOT recommend the usage of the streaming capabilities of the Edge Pro camera. It is present in the user interface but conflicts with the ALPR function as it competes for system resources. If a customer enables streaming on the Edge Pro, they will notice a ALPR system performance degradation.

If customers contact the Rekor Tech Support team in regards to an Edge Pro performance issue (missing plates, etc.), we will first verify and ask them to turn off any streaming capability of the Edge Pro.
